Damiano Tuscany

Damiano is a lovely farmhouse situated high in the hills between Lucca and the Versilian coast.

It is one of our most popular houses and for many years clients have enjoyed the beauty of the house. It has a very well kept garden with a nicely furnished veranda for outdoor meals, along with the very welcoming staff, that looks after the property with great care.

The house has been recently restored giving special attention to Tuscan tradition, retaining the original beamed ceilings and using only antique cotto floor tiles. At the same time, it is very well equipped with all modern comforts, including internet connection. The location of the property, surrounded by olive groves, is both tranquil and beautiful with magnificent views. Despite its private and quiet position, it is only a 15-minute drive to the center of the historic town of Lucca and 25 minutes to the coast and beaches.

Tuscany Villa Notes

  • Due to limited transportation in outlying and rural areas, a rental car is essential for stays at countryside villas in Italy. We are more than happy to arrange a car for you during your stay, please just let us know at time of booking.
  • Please note that Italy villas rent from Saturday to Saturday. Exceptions may be possible on a case by case basis and upon request.
  • The Italian government has implemented a Visitor’s Tax of €1.50 per person per day and applies to all overnight stays for the first seven days in the destination. This tax is payable to the local property manager.
