With winter fast approaching and temperatures dropping quickly, many of you are setting your sights on warmer frontiers. Though booking Hawaiian villas is a sure way to beat the wintertime blues, the frustrations of getting there can sometimes be more hassle than it's worth. Fortunately for New Yorkers with an interest in the Aloha State, Hawaiian Airlines has recently announced a new direct flight between John F. Kennedy International Airport and Honolulu International Airport that are set to launch next year.

Flight 50, known colloquially as Hawaii 5-0, will leave Honolulu at 3:05 P.M. and arrive in New York just before 7:00 A.M. the following morning. The return flight will depart from JFK at 10 A.M. and arrive in the Hawaiian city around 3 P.M.

The flight will make Hawaiian only the second airline to provide nonstop service between Honolulu and the New York City area, as Continental already offers nonstop flights to and from Newark, New Jersey.

"Adding service to the largest market in the Eastern U.S., Hawaii’s second largest tourism market, was a logical step," Hawaiian CEO Mark Dunkerly told the press. "New York is an important part of our growth strategy."

Widely recognized as one the premiere airlines serving the country's 50th state, Hawaiian offers luxurious flight services that will help prepare you for the splendid accommodation awaiting at you luxury vacation rentals.
